This project explores the idea of commerce as a modern-day forum — a covered street where architecture frames human movement and encounter. The façade combines vertical rhythm and horizontal layering, giving the building both weight and openness. The central gateway acts as a portal leading into a vaulted interior passage where light, height, and repetition establish a sense of order and ceremony. Inside, steel arches, lantern-like chandeliers, and layered balconies create a spatial sequence reminiscent of early industrial arcades and urban galleries. The design emphasizes proportion, continuity, and material honesty — a space where trade, leisure, and architecture coexist under one coherent structure.
