Studio ARTEC is a multidisciplinary architectural and design practice based in Prishtina, Kosovo. Its name traces back to 1993, when architect Xhelal Llonçari established the original ARTEC office. In 2010, architect Ilir Llonçari founded an independent practice under the same name, honoring its origins while pursuing his own architectural vision.
Guided by the belief that “Architecture is Art, not Industry,” our work explores the relationship between people, space, and experience. Rooted in authenticity, storytelling, and material honesty, our design process evolves from the inside out, allowing architectural expression to emerge naturally from the life within. Cultural identity, environmental responsibility, and multisensory experiences shape our approach, creating spaces that engage not only the eye but also the senses and emotions.
Working across architecture, interior design, and construction management, we challenge conventional solutions through artistic exploration and thoughtful functionality. Rather than following a signature style, we seek a distinct identity for every project, creating environments that are meaningful, memorable, and enduring.
